Toxic Free Tuesday – Arbonne – FC5 Exfoliating New Cell Scrub

It is recommended we exfoliate every 2-3 days, this processes helps to remove the layer of dead skin that has built up on our bodies. Yuk. With the Arbonne FC5 exfoliating new cell scrub it is said to give every skin type a gentle exfoliating experience leaving us with radiant and healthy looking skin. Something we all strive for.

Toxic Free Tuesday - Arbonne - FC5 Exfoliating New Cell Scrub

Name & Price – FC5 Exfoliating New Cell Scrub 4 fl. Oz $40

Packaging –   Tapered white bottle with clean blue writing. We are given directions to use on moistened skin in a circular motion on our face for 1 minute, then rinse. Bonus, we are told this product is Vegan! No list of ingredients on the bottle, but online I see 46 different ingredients, wow. After aqua, they include a clay as the main ingredient with extra nutrients but there are many unnecessary fragrances and harsh abrasive ingredients still on the list I would not suggest this product for dry or sensitive skin.

Fragrance – Fresh like grass after it just rained but mild, very refreshing.

Texture – Cream with fine graduals which diluted quickly over the face with water.

Experience/Results – This product can be used as a regular wash or a mask. When I used it as a mask I left the product on my face for 10 minutes, after rinsing it left my skin feeling softer and plumper, I imagine because of some of the added ingredients this left the skin plumper which really is a side effect of my skin being slightly irritated. When used as a face wash it lathered into a creamy wash and did just enough to buff my face for a fresh glow without any noticeable side effects.

Overall – I am surprised at the large list of ingredients in this product but that can be an attributing factor to the price. The product did a good job as a quick exfoliant but for the price, I can find something else.
